Last Friday night the Lady TBirds faced down 5A State Champions Cedar Park for their first (non-district) game of the season. Juniors Sahvani Sancho and Jacey Reese, and freshman LA Sneed led the charge against the Timberwolves, with shooting guard Sancho putting up 26 points and 4 rebounds, and point guard Sneed with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals for the game.

Although the ladies fell short with an end game score of 72-50 for Cedar Park, the game served as a great test to help coaches shake out weaknesses and make adjustments for the upcoming season.

The next home game will be tonight, November 9th, at 7:00 pm against Clark High School. It will be the last home game until November 30th when the Lady TBirds play Bowie.
